Your set is so beautiful; I can see why you cherish it. My mom was crazy and did make an assortment of tiny baked goods for my Barbie dolls. I still have a tiny cherry pie that she made out of modelling clay and then lacquered, using the cap off a beer bottle as the pie plate so the effect was perfect ruffled edging on the pastry. It's one of my favourite childhood possessions, mostly because I remember being put to work rolling tiny red balls for the cherries and then filling the "pie plate".

What a delightful storefront. I see kitty enjoys it too :) I dug out my Holly Hobby doll a couple of weeks ago to reminisce over.

I love, love, love the bakery. Mum digs out stuff like that of ours for the girls these days and it always brings back memories. I want to commission you to make me a set too (because I know you have oodles of spare time right now!)

The Boss of You is a business book for women looking for advice to start or run a successful small business. The book features advice from some pretty smart gals including Jenny Hart (Sublime Stitching), Grace Boney (Design Sponge), Alex Beauchamp (Another Girl at Play), and many others.
