sarah h

sounds like a lesson we could all learn from...i have a few unfinished sewing projects in a box somewhere from similar mix-ups.

do you happen to have a good pattern to suggest for making pj pants? i used to have one that i used to make the most comfortable, but not saggy-bummed, pajama pants. But I don't know what I did with it. is this something that you can eyeball, or do you have a pattern?

You know I used to have one I loved too and I can't find it. I was going to use the Amy Butler (from the same book) but I fear they're a bit too wide legged (they are called "Wide Legged PJs") for me. really it's the crotch and the bum parts that one needs guidance for the leg width etc you can kind of wing. If I get brave this weekend I just might try to adapt my own, and if it works out I'll try to copy it into a webfriendly format to share.

I do have a pair that I bought that are very simple but that I absolutely love the fit of. Maybe I'll see if I can't crib off those...

Buy My Book?

  • The book I co-wrote with my business partner Lauren Bacon is available at Amazon. How nutty is that? The Boss of You is a business book for women looking for advice to start or run a successful small business. The book features advice from some pretty smart gals including Jenny Hart (Sublime Stitching), Grace Boney (Design Sponge), Alex Beauchamp (Another Girl at Play), and many others.
